Registration for Russian Space Forum is now open

Reg­is­tra­tion is now open for the first Rus­sian Space Fo­rum (RSF), which will take place on 9 April 2026 at the Rus­sia Na­tion­al Cen­tre in Mos­cow. This is a chance to take part in a key in­dus­try plat­form where pri­or­i­ty ar­eas for the de­vel­op­ment of the Rus­sian space pro­gramme will be pre­sent­ed and new op­por­tu­ni­ties for co­op­er­a­tion be­tween the gov­ern­ment, busi­ness, and the sci­en­tif­ic com­mu­ni­ty will be dis­cussed.

You can ap­ply to take part in the event on the of­fi­cial RSF web­site by fill­ing in the ap­pli­ca­tion form and un­der­go­ing the ac­cred­i­ta­tion pro­cess.

The Fo­rum will act as the cen­tral event of Space Week 2026, which will bring to­geth­er rep­re­sen­ta­tives of gov­ern­ment agen­cies, state cor­po­ra­tions, pri­vate com­pa­nies, sci­en­tif­ic or­ga­ni­za­tions, and in­ter­na­tion­al part­ners. The busi­ness pro­gramme will in­clude dis­cus­sions of the in­dus­try's strate­gic ob­jec­tives, the prospects for the de­vel­op­ment of space tech­nolo­gies, and their prac­ti­cal ap­pli­ca­tion in var­i­ous ar­eas of the econ­o­my and pub­lic life.

"We must lay a sol­id foun­da­tion that will not on­ly build on ex­ist­ing suc­cess­es, but al­so serve as a step­ping­stone for reach­ing new heights, in­clud­ing through in­ter­na­tion­al co­op­er­a­tion. Our plans ex­tend to the com­ing dec­ade and be­yond. The Fo­rum cre­ates all the con­di­tions for us to re­al­ize our po­ten­tial in full," not­ed Ros­cos­mos Di­rec­tor Gen­er­al Dmit­ry Bak­anov.

The Fo­rum will dis­cuss five key ar­eas that will form the back­bone for the de­vel­op­ment of the space pro­gramme in the years to come. Some of the most im­por­tant top­ics will be the near-Earth econ­o­my, deep space ex­plo­ra­tion, and the lu­nar pro­gramme. An­oth­er im­por­tant is­sue that will be ad­dressed at the Fo­rum is the con­ti­nu­i­ty of gen­er­a­tions, the ef­fec­tive train­ing of new per­son­nel, and the pop­u­lar­iza­tion of pro­fes­sions re­lat­ed to the space in­dus­try. The long-term suc­cess of the Rus­sian space pro­gramme de­pends on ef­fec­tive en­gage­ment with young peo­ple through dig­i­tal tech­nolo­gies and rais­ing the pres­tige of ca­reers in the space sec­tor.

"The Rus­sian Space Fo­rum will help im­prove the cur­rent ap­proach to space ex­plo­ra­tion. We have set our­selves many am­bi­tious goals and we are ready for the chal­lenges that work­ing to­wards them will bring. Now we need to fo­cus on the de­vel­op­ment of the space sec­tor, which is im­pos­si­ble with­out co­or­di­nat­ed ef­forts across the en­tire in­dus­try," stressed Dep­u­ty CEO of the Ros­con­gress Foun­da­tion Vladimir Za­ty­nai­ko.

The RSF will al­so ad­dress is­sues of eco­nom­ic de­vel­op­ment in low-or­bit en­vi­ron­ments, a promis­ing and emerg­ing in­dus­try. The dis­cus­sions on this is­sue will fo­cus on meth­ods for cre­at­ing the nec­es­sary in­fra­struc­ture. An­oth­er top­ic will be new op­por­tu­ni­ties for pri­vate busi­ness­es to en­ter the space in­dus­try. Speak­ers will put for­ward ideas on how to im­prove peo­ple's qual­i­ty of life through the mod­ern­iza­tion of satel­lite net­works.

An equal­ly im­por­tant as­pect of the Fo­rum is the is­sue of in­ter­na­tion­al co­op­er­a­tion and in­ter­ac­tion be­tween in­ter­na­tion­al part­ners to achieve the goals that have been set for the in­dus­try in the com­ing years.

The Rus­sian Space Fo­rum is or­ga­nized by the Ros­cos­mos State Cor­po­ra­tion. The Ros­con­gress Foun­da­tion serves as the op­er­a­tor, with the sup­port of the Gov­ern­ment of the Rus­sian Fed­er­a­tion.

The Ros­con­gress Foun­da­tion is a so­cial­ly ori­ent­ed non-fi­nan­cial de­vel­op­ment in­sti­tu­tion and a ma­jor or­ga­niz­er of in­ter­na­tion­al and na­tion­wide con­ven­tions; ex­hi­bi­tions; and busi­ness, pub­lic, youth, sport­ing, and cul­tur­al events. It was es­tab­lished in pur­su­ance of a de­ci­sion by the Pres­i­dent of the Rus­sian Fed­er­a­tion.

The Foun­da­tion was es­tab­lished in 2007 with the aim of fa­cil­i­tat­ing the de­vel­op­ment of Rus­sia's eco­nom­ic po­ten­tial, pro­mot­ing its na­tion­al in­ter­ests, and strength­en­ing the coun­try's im­age. One of the roles of the Foun­da­tion is to com­pre­hen­sive­ly eval­u­ate, an­a­lyse, and cov­er is­sues on the Rus­sian and glob­al eco­nom­ic agen­das. It also of­fers ad­min­is­tra­tive ser­vices, pro­vides pro­mo­tion­al sup­port for busi­ness pro­jects and at­tract­ing in­vest­ment, helps fos­ter so­cial en­tre­pre­neur­ship and char­i­ta­ble ini­tia­tives

The Foun­da­tion's events draw par­tic­i­pants from 209 coun­tries and ter­ri­to­ries, with over 15,000 me­dia rep­re­sen­ta­tives work­ing at Ros­con­gress venues ev­ery year. More than 5,000 Rus­sian and for­eign ex­perts en­gage in an­a­lyt­i­cal and ex­pert work.

The Foun­da­tion works with UN struc­tures and oth­er in­ter­na­tion­al or­ga­ni­za­tions. In ad­di­tion, it is de­vel­op­ing mul­ti-for­mat co­op­er­a­tion with 239 for­eign eco­nom­ic part­ners, as­so­ci­a­tions of in­dus­tri­al­ists and en­tre­pre­neurs, and fi­nan­cial, trade, and busi­ness as­so­ci­a­tions in 90 coun­tries; 368 Rus­sian pub­lic or­ga­ni­za­tions and fed­er­al and re­gion­al ex­ec­u­tive and leg­is­la­tive bod­ies of the Rus­sian Fed­er­a­tion and for­eign coun­tries, and in­ter­acts with more than 1,000 for­eign me­dia out­lets from 128 coun­tries.
